A concert programme of what is described as ‘beautiful and uplifting music’ is to be performed by the 1885 Singers later this month.

On Sunday 19 March at 7.30pm at All Saints’ Church, the 1885 Singers begin the evening with Parry's rousing Blest Pair of Sirens.

You will then be treated to Mozart's clarinet concerto - with soloist Alan Maries.

Charlotte Moore singing ‘O for the wings of a dove' in the Mendelssohn work 'Hear My Prayer' should not be missed according to the organisers.

To finish the concert the 1885 Singers and orchestra perform The Music Makers by Edward Elgar.

Tickets can be purchased at the door for £15 ( £12 concessions ).

All Saints' Church is by Putney Common (SW15 1HL).
