Wandsworth Park Summer Tree Walk
Date: Thursday 1 August 2019
Time: 11am to 12.30pm
Meeting location: Wandsworth Park Pavilion, Wandsworth Park, Putney Bridge Road, London, SW15 2PX
Free, booking required
Description: Come and join a summer tree identification and maintenance walk in Wandsworth Council’s Wandsworth Park. The walk will be led by one of Enable Leisure and Culture’s Tree Officers.
Meet at the at the old pavilion/changing rooms inside Wandsworth Park for an 11am start. Please wear footwear and clothing suitable for walking outdoors.
If they need to cancel the walk at short notice due to weather, the will email you by 9am on the day of the event.
If you would like them to adjust how they deliver the walk to help with your accessibility to the event, please email them at parks@enablelc.org or let the walk leader know at the start so they can try to accommodate your needs as much as possible.
Photos will be taken and used in the public domain. Please let a member of staff know if you do not wish for your photo to be taken.

Wandsworth Park Summer Biodiversity Walk

Time: 2pm to 3pm
Meeting location: Wandsworth Park Pavilion, Wandsworth Park, Putney Bridge Road, London, SW15 2PX
Free, booking required
Description: Come and join a walk in Wandsworth Council’s Wandsworth Park to learn about the importance of this site in supporting a variety of plants and animals and how the park is managed to encourage greater biodiversity. The walk will be led by Valerie Selby, Parks Development & Biodiversity Manager at Enable Leisure and Culture.
Meet at the at the old pavilion/changing rooms inside Wandsworth Park for a 2pm start. The walk will be roughly 1 hour long. Please wear footwear and clothing suitable for walking outdoors.
If they need to cancel the walk at short notice due to weather, they will email you before noon on the day of the event.
If you would like them to adjust how they deliver the walk to help with your accessibility to the event, please email then at parks@enablelc.org or let the walk leader know at the start so they can try to accommodate your needs as much as possible.
