Help improve improve London’s precious waterways while taking a memorable personal challenge along our world-famous river.
Starting close to Putney Bridge, the Thames Path Challenge is an epic endurance walk or ultra-marathon against the clock following the unique Thames Path national trail; beautiful scenery, steeped in history – one exceptional challenge.
The Thames Path follows England’s best known river for 184 miles (294km) as it meanders from its source in the Cotswolds on through the bustle of the City of London, to the Thames Barrier. The Challenge heads West, starting out from the urban jungle of London at Fulham Palace through some of the most historic and picturesque towns in southern England.
The options:
100km
- Putney to Henley. A tough 24 hour endurance walk or Ultra Marathon run!
50km
- Putney to Runnymede. A daytime walk or marathon plus run.
- Runnymede to Henley. A daytime walk or marathon plus run – or a night-time walk!
25km – New! A walking challenge that suits us all!
Join 2000 Challengers in teams of friends, colleagues, or as an individual and meet fellow trekkers along the way. This is an epic challenge and with the help of your team-mates, the support teams and a good pair of footwear – it will be a weekend to remember!
Cost: £30 (25km) £60 (50km) / £85 (100km) to sign up + fundraising pledge
