Channel 5’s Milkshake Presenters visited West Hill Primary School this week. The children’s TV stars were filmed at the school for a programme that will be aired next month.

Nathan, Kiana and Kiera spent the morning at West Hill to celebrate Black History month which is in October. Mrs Healy the Co-Headteacher commented: “The children thoroughly enjoyed listening to the stories and are all very excited about the prospect of being on Channel 5 for their five minutes of fame”.

The presenters visited West Hill to share some multicultural stories with the children in Key Stage 1. The children aged between 5 and 7 were filmed in the school’s Creative Hub listening to the stories and having fun with their TV heroes. Lilly in Year 1 was delighted that the TV stars came to visit her school: “The stories they read us were so fun”. Another Year 1 child Sayt said: “We laughed a lot when they read us the stories about the fruit”.
