On Saturday 3 December from 11am to 3pm it will start the festive season with a jolly Christmas Fair. It is promised that you will find all your stocking filler needs, such as Christmas cards decorations and gifts, fragrances, home décor, jewellery, plants, vases, Christmas wreathes, books, scarves, bags, arts & crafts and much more. Enjoy mulled wine and mince pies as you browse. Free entry and parking. More information can be seen here.

Then on Wednesday 7 December from 7-9pm there is the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability’s (RHN) annual Christmas Carol Concert at Holy Trinity Church in Putney (SW15 6SP).

Tickets have now gone on sale and it is expected to be an evening of fun and festive entertainment with free mulled wine and mince pies.

Tickets cost £15 for adults and £10 for concessions with children under 10 admitted for £5. The money raised will help raise money for the RHN's Music Therapy service.

On Sunday 11 December just across the river at Holy Cross Church in Ashington Road, Parsons Green, Fulham there is a Christmas Concert by the Fulham Camerata Choir at 6.30pm.

It will be singing the Fantasia on Christmas Carols, which Vaughan Williams based on English folk songs for Christmas, as well as a number of popular carols to herald in the Christmas season.

It is a non-ticketed event in aid of the Felix Project, which is a London charity fighting food waste and promoting food redistribution to those who struggle to afford to eat.

The event is free but the choir hopes you will give generously to this vital charity on the night.

The following Saturday 17 December the Dover House Singers will be performing its Christmas concert in aid of ReGenerate Rise at St. Mary’s Church on Putney High Street SW15 1SN from 7pm.

Janis Humberstone of the Dover House singers says, “As always, there will be a varied repertoire including seasonal favourites such as Silent Night, The Most Wonderful Time of the Year and Amid the Winter’s Snow. Plus, they’ll be some singing for everyone to join in with!

“The choir will be led by our wonderful Musical Director, Carl Speck and as we all need a bit of joy just now, take a little time out and come along to this delightful event. We know that a good time will be had by all."

Entrance is free and the choir will be providing refreshments and its (now legendary) hamper raffle, to raise funds for Regenerate-RISE.

On Sunday 18 December there will be Christmas Carol Service at both St Mary's and All Saints’, 7pm which is later than usual because of the World Cup final.
