Putney Restaurants Feature in Annual Food Awards

A number of Putney restaurants have received awards or been commended in the annual Time & Leisure Food & Culture Awards.

Voted Best Al Fresco Dining across South West London was The Boathouse with voters clearly liking its food and the views from its riverside location. They were also highly commended in the Best Pub category.

The winner of the Most Positive Food and Drink Experience in Putney, sponsored by Positively Putney BID, was Kashmir.

On winning the award a spokesperson for Kashmir said “The best award is the love and support from all our guests.”

Artisans of Sardinia was Highly Commended in the category whilst Coppa Club, Putney Pantry and Yum Sa were Commended.

Lost Society were Highly cCommended in the Local Restaurant of the Year category losing to a Persian restaurant in Wimbledon.

Coppa Club, Putney were commended in the best Newcomer category missing out to Incognito, a new cocktail bar in Kingston.

Now in their 10th year, the awards aim to celebrate the best in our town centres from fine dining and family friendly events to cultural events. Readers of Time & Leisure magazine are invited to nominate and vote for their favourite places.
