Warning Issued After Two Knifepoint Robberies in Southfields

Police in Southfields have issued a warning to local residents after two attempted robberies in the Southfields area this Tuesday (13 August).

One took place at 5.30am and the other at 3.45pm. In both cases the assailant demanded mobile phones be handed over while threatening the victim with a knife.

The two incidents took place near to Augustus Road on the way to Southfields Tube Station.

The local police team said, "Please stay vigilant and keep valuables out of sight."

Southfields police have also alerted residents to a couple of theft from motor vehicles in the Triangle area of Southfields and reminded them to remove all valuables and ensure your car is locked.
