As with previous case suspect made off with watch on moped

A second case of a machete being brandished during a robbery in Putney has been reported.
This time the male victim was threatened a man and made to hand over his watch in Modder Place just of Lacy Road shortly before 8.38pm on Thursday, 8 October. The suspect made off on a moped.
The police say officers were sent to the area and the police helicopter (NPAS) was deployed to help with the search but no arrests were made. The victim was not injured.
On 19 September at 8.40pm a mugging was carried out by two men on a moped on Norroy Road with a machete again reportedly being used to force the handover of a Rolex watch. The victim, who was in his twenties, suffered injuries to his hand and was treated at the scene.
