Six Teens Arrested After Mobile Phone Shop Raid


Robbery reported at Vodafone on Putney High Street

Six teenagers have been arrested following a robbery at a mobile phone shop on Putney High Street.

The police were called to the Vodaphone branch at around 3.15pm on Tuesday (26 March) to reports of a robbery in progress.

They arrested two boys at the scene, aged 16 and 17, on suspicion of robbery. Four others had already fled the scene but officers located them in the area with the help of the Met’s Dog Support Unit. The four boys, aged 16, 19, 17 and 16, were detained in Montserrat Road.

All six were taken to a west London police station where they remain in custody.

No injuries were reported during the robbery.
