Driver of white van sought in bid to recover book store
A white van was seen in the vicinity when the book store disappeared
The family of a young boy from Roehampton who created a free library are making an appeal for its return.
The book store created by Jacob Zambrano-Vega went missing from Elmshaw Road at around 5.30pm on Tuesday 2 March.
His parents want to trace the driver of a white van who was seen in the area at the time.
Jacob created the free library with the help of his grandfather with the aim of giving people more access to reading while book stores are closed and the lockdown is restricting movement.
The library worked by allowing you to bring a children’s book to swap with one already in the box. You leave your book along with a note.
The idea behind the free library was inspired by the Disney show “shop class”
