recused themselves.In my experience those who are bigoted against Israel, by which I do not mean critics of Israel but people who take any entirely one-sided view of the conflict and refuse to countenance evidence contrary to their views, are fond of selectively quoting from supposedly unimpeachable sources. So they will say things like,'Noam Chomsky agrees that Israel is guilty of genocide and he's Jewish, so it must be right' or 'the UN Commission on Humman Rights says it's genocide and the Commission is an unbiased judicial body, so their opinion must be well founded'.It is important to note that neither the British government nor the EU Commission have accepted that Israel is guilty of genocide. My view, as I have stated many times, is that it is an antisemitic blood libel.
