This should be essential reading for any remaining climate change sceptics out there.This is not a council of despair, more a measure of the scale of the challenge, but a friend of mine in the environmental movement tells me that even if every country in the world achieved net zero tomorrow it would still take decades to undo the damage we have already done. So we need to continue to work on deemphasising use of carbohydrons and promoting renewables wherever possible. With the current sunny weather over half our electricity is coming from solar and the average annual % contribution of renewables to our energy mix continues to rise.
