Well, I don't think we should deliberately alienated the US President but he ought to be made to understand there are boundaries and that claims on Canada, Greenland, etc are unacceptable. Surely, self determination and human rights are also important and the "message" I get from people in the US is that these are breaking down to some extent there - I don't think any ICE agents have been investigated for deaths in custody or shooting apparent innocent protesters? The US GDP is better than the EU's - but that begs the question, for example, of why there are a large proportion of US citizens who have limited access to health care whereas most people in the EU do? And of the beaten track in Florida - and I understand elsewhere - there are what looks like very poor towns.Of course, Trump is difficult to read - is he deliberately making random posts and swearing or is he senile? He certainly comes across to me as being very bitter and sad, and obsessed with Obama who won the Nobel Peace Prize and whose Iran treaty he decided to just tear up - will his really be better? Anyway, Vance is now dealing with Iran while Donald worries about the algae in his newly painted pool, if you're President you've got to get your priorities right :-)
