In starting any war, there are surely three key principles: 1. there is a clear and imminent threat; 2. the objective is clear and achievable; and 3. there is an exit strategy. Donald "No more wars" Trump's foolish new war fails utterly on all three points.I'm no fan of Starmer, but in this case he's absolutely right -- and silly "pussy" insults are better directed at Trump, given his past record in how he deals with women.

Let's hope things don't escalate ... Iran has attacked Turkey with a drone. As A NATO member, Turkey could invoke Article 5, although I don't think they've any intention to. Perhaps just as well, given one of Iran's main allies is Russia. But perhaps some "purring" might be appropriate to calm things down before the situation goes out of control?
