Yes, they're usually termed robotic dogs. I find them quite cute but I've got used to them as someone always seems to be demonstrating them at a tech or science show. I haven't yet got a shot of one of them meeting a real dog on security duty at ExCel :-)

I am not too sure about this robotic dogs - if they are supposed to be dogs.I find them rather spooky.....
