Mr Hawkes, surely obfuscation is the result of vagueness and uncertainty - or even whataboutery - not simple, straightforward logic and accuracy in detail? I'm not going to apologise for being pedantic, I guess that and logical thought was good for my IT work; testing, resolving problems, good design, planning, etc. Surely, IBM must have appreciated such attributes?Although, if I'm going to be pedantic, there is a branch of maths (or philosophical logic) where vagueness is a specialty :-)
