Catherine O’Hara RIP

Really sad to hear the Canadian actress, Catherine O’Hara, has passed away aged 71.  She was in Home Alone and Beetlejuice, but as far as I am concerned she will be remembered for being Moira Rose in the brilliant and funny Schitts Creek.

Evidently the ridiculously out of place outfits she wore in Schitts Creek were based on the socialite, Daphne Guiness.  It was such a wonderful comedy full of lovable characters, especially the Rose family.

So so sad to hear this.  What a brilliant actress and how she delivered Moira in Schitts Creek was brilliant.  The wigs and then complaining in her brilliant accent that the wine was so awful she needed another glass.A real loss.
