Sainsbury's Wireless Headphones

Most of the staff now in shops are using the wireless Headphones so Managers can contact them on the shopfloor. Now the staff are walking around like robots. What I was thinking is are the staff receiving low doses of radiation wearing these all day, radio controlled devices. Can these not cause cancer.

Peter I know Gary at the far end of the shop has been there years, he's been told not to speak to customers, which I think is disgusting  I know Gary moans, but most of us know he does. Also Monday I was in there and a till was open, so a lady had a lot of shopping was being served. So I put my few bit down, the assistant pointed to do it myself, with that I let rip I'm afraid. I said don't you dare tell me what to do, if you can serve that lady you can serve me. I don't work here. I don't expect to be told what to do. Your paid not me.

I was Sainsbury's earlier this week and noticed a member of staff apparently mumbling to himself while stocking shelves. I know the store, very creditably employs staff with learning disabilities so assumed this was the case here. I now realise he was wearing one of these headsets!

Ha ha! I know what you mean, Barbara. There are times I ask them where something is and all I get is a thousand yard stare….completely blank! I guess they’re listening to some guff coming through on the headphones…’spillage on aisle 3…avoid, avoid, avoid!’

Well their look is so blank now, I'm waiting for them to start spinning round going exterminate, exterminate. Then there won't be any customers to serve.

My son is an electronics engineer said wait 20 yrs, then see who the radio waves have effected people's health.

Not arguing on the subject as I don't know. But they used to say Mobile phones could. The reason I brought the subject up was because they have them attached to their head all the time in the shop.
