Store closures

H&M are planning to close all their stores and go online only. This no doubt will mean a very large empty space at the front of Putney Exchange and the loss of yet another clothing store in Putney. I've lost count of the number of fast food outlets in the High Street. Once more we appear powerless in efforts to improve our local shopping environment.

Thanks for clarifying Nick. The report I read (that I have since deleted) stated that they were closing all stores.

Hi Lucille, H and M are definitely not closing all their stores.They’re rebranding a number of their stores that trade as Monki to Weekday and a few they don’t rebrand will close. As for Putney H and M, I forget when the lease expires, maybe another 2/3 years, we will have to wait and see, what happens there.
