Trump shows his true colours (see the latest report in the Telegraph)

In the Telegraph today appears this:"The United States has threatened to cut off weapons and intelligence to Ukraine unless it signs Donald Trump’s peace deal by next Thursday.Sources said Ukraine was under greater pressure from Washington to bow to the US president’s demands than in previous negotiation efforts.'They want to stop the war and want Ukraine to pay the price,' one of the sources told Reuters."In his desperation to get his hands on the Nobel Peace Prize, this disgusting man is prepared to throw Ukraine under the bus. I too am very depressed about Trump's peace plan,  which seems to be little more than a  Russian wish list. No mention of the kidnapped children. But rather than frothing about Trump I think we should now be considering what steps Europe should take to support Ukraine.

It is totally incomprehensible!I think the line should say:"The United States has threatened to cutt ofr weapons and intelligence to Ukraine unless it signs the Donald Trump/Vladimir Putin's peace deal...."Despicable does not even scratch the surface!

He did seem desperate to get the Nobel Peace Prize earlier this year, possibly because it upsets him that President Obama was awarded one (something I've heard that even Obama was surprised about and not keen to accept).I've heard commentators say that the Nobel Committee will take a broad perspective about someone's actions and events - so if there's war crime accusations then failure to deliver the accused to the ICC as part of the deal may be viewed negatively and his action against drug smugglers without showing the evidence may be counterproductive. And they may expect President Trump to apologies for and rescind any claim on their close neighbour Denmark's overseas territory, Greenland!Still, the Nobel Committee will make their own decisions ...
