Ah, here we go... The school was built before the Hammersmith Bridge closure and the latest traffic light nonsense when the LLR was much quieter as you seem to conveniently forget (are you new to the area?) but I suppose it's an observation. Pollution. What do you have to say on the location of Putney High? Surely even more polluted being as it's on a main arterial road to and from the A3 and is 'often congested'. Many, many more buses and lorries. What a silly thing to not foresee that! And All Saints too! only a few yards further away from the LLR! Shocking! Shut it down and move it has to be the only solution! It seems you are unaware of the well known fact that the current Lowered birth rate means even the previously highly oversubscribed schools like St Mary's have empty places. Luckily, on the plus side if you're worried about people parking when dropping off at the school on the common, you'll be hugely gratified to learn it has it's own private road. No parking on the street to endanger little Tommy and Lily (unlike at many other schools around)! One really has to wonder whether some people ever go down there. Plain to see with your own eyes. And a 'white elephant'? what evidence have you for that? If it's a failure it can always be turned into flats I suppose. Yay! More to whinge about! The gift that keeps on giving, ho ho!
