Putney high street roadworks

on 93 bus at odeon not moved in 20 minutes due to these roadworks?! ALS won’t even let us off so we’re all stuck. Got a crying baby! What can we do about this.

To answer my own question, it does seem to be a bit better but not by much and the initial improvement may have been down to half term.

Ivonne, if this has just come on that you think you are better than anybody else, I think you should look it up as I think you have a Superiority Complex. Otherwise if this continues in your daily life it might not do you any good.

Precisely, blasted cycle lanes are a menace. I went into putney garage once and told the manager who sits looking at a screen, that a lady was about to cross in the high street opposite lacy Rd and we were aloud to cross, she was holding her child's hand and the bus driver never stopped and nearly ran us over. He was holding a bottle of water in one hand and drinking

The driver has a difficulty here. He is indee strict orders to only let people on and off the bus at designated stops.If he opens the door and a cyclist or motor cyclist hits the passenger leaving then he is potentially at fault and out of work.Of course some driverz do it, but i susoect they are careful of where and when  plus a baby in  buggy is not simply a hop off quickly.Difficult one.

I already put that Ivonne, did I not explain it properly, What is Fleur going to do. The Bus Manager has every bus on record and can also see if they nearly running somebody over. Do you think you are more superior to anybody else on the forum.

What an awful experience! Cannot see why you were not allowed off the bus, it makes no sense!  I hope you are off the bus by now.My suggestion is to complain to the bus company and write to TfL and Fleur Anderson about this....

That's dreadful, they should have let you get off. It's been dreadful the whole weekend as well on our road the bus garage road. You should contact the bus company and tell them and complain.
