By the sounds of it, it was because an accusation was made and the police treated it seriously and were making a public appeal for any witnesses. Subsequently, no evidence was found and the police are not pursuing it.Where is the mystery?

At last! - one detail has been revealed - ergo ONE piece of the scum is white!  So what about the rest of them?  Info no doubt only released to try and prevent further unrest over police lack of transparency regarding the ethnicity of some sexual predators: you rightly point out the Epping incident in July and last month the alleged rape of a 12 year old girl by two Ethiopian asylum seekers in Nuneaton.It’ll be interesting to see what emerges next …

Old Fred is back and rambling incoherently again.🙄Anyway back to topic.  No further updates in the papers this morning; still no information on suspects’ appearances despite the attack taking place in broad daylight and there being a witness, a brave lady who tried to help the victim.  This lack of information is incomprehensible.  The police are requesting intel from the public to try and find these scum but without any identifying features being revealed it cannot be done.  What were they wearing?  Did any of them have a beard, long hair or shaved head, any tattoos or scars etc etc?  And now the BIG one, the question that Boyce and Francis are waiting for … what was the colour of their skin because unless they were all wearing back-to-front balaclavas this would be the first identifierYou can bet that if these rapists were white it would be splashed all over the media.
