If I was being charitable I'd say it was the only vessel they had that fitted the sill. Perhaps the cat might show its dissatisfied by batting the glass off the sill? :-)

What a lovely cat!I am not too sure there is much more water it can drink... Poor thing, a glass is not the most helpful of containers for it.
