Mr Ixer'Another reason for council staff not carrying out policy is if those policies contrave laws'.'Perhaps your usual whataboutery to try and shut down views you dislike by being deliberately annoying?'"Calm down dear" - you are sounding tetchy !Who defines if a policy contravenes the law ?I would imagine councils have adequate qualified legal departments to interpret 'the law' and insure it is not contravened by actions or comment. Some of course would obviously do so - shooting illegal immigrants ?But most other instructions given to civil servants by elected politicians are likely to be far more mundane and susceptible to comment, supportive or otherwise.Perhaps for example ensuring illegal immigrants on landing are transferred to ex-Air Force bases as is I think is the policy Labour are considering. And of course we are approaching a point where even putting forward a particular point of view that some might disagree with will be considered harassment by some sensitive souls. You by the sound of it.Pleased to read that you think the police and justice systems have so much spare capacity they can consider verbal  harassment a priority over knife crime, organised shop lifting, and even mobile phone theft. And it is a surprise to me that council premises have areas out of bounds to councillors providing they follow normal social etiquette or the recent confirmation of the definition of sex in the Equality Act 2010 which makes clear  that the concept of sex is binary, a person is either a woman or a man and hence there are spaces whose use is confined to each group. And when does disagreeing with you and others of your ilk shut down on this Forum views I dislike ?'Forum: a meeting or medium where ideas and views on a particular issue can be exchanged.'When have you been prevented from exchanging yours ?
