Which taxi service?

I have to get to Heathrow at about 6.30am to catch a flight. I’ve used Uber recently but would like to rely on a taxi service that I can book in advance and rely on. You can book an Uber but they do not “confirm” until it’s too late, and they’ve let me down in the past. Any suggestions for a local service?

Yes, I’ve done that. But the ride is not confirmed although registered. If they or their algorithm  can’t find a driver for the time slot you booked just before you are due to leave  they don’t turn up on time … mostly it works OK, occasionally in my experience it doesn't. Nick

I also use Double 0 and recommend them. It's not just to airports,like the time I had an appointment at King's College Hospital at 7am.

I havnt flown for over 50 years, prefer to holiday in UK.Mileage out I  the country is low probably 60 a week to golf club and taking the wife shopping.Mist of my travel these days is by train  if it's not local and bus if it is.
