Terence Stamp

Very sadly has passed away, I have his niece on my Facebook as Amie Stamp, her sister Rosie used to live next door to me in the 70's and 80's. There dad was Chris Stamp, was to do with The WHO. Amie is married to Ed Stoppard the actor. She put a picture of Terence and herself on the settee. So sad.

Terence Stamp requested that his ashes be scattered on Green Park, which is just up the road from Albany.

I, too, once shared a bus with Terence Stamp.  Very exciting. That was a 14 as well. And so they go...

Terence Stamp lived in Albany, Piccadilly, the magnificent Grade I listed mansion built in the 1770s divided into sets (flats) in 1802.  He first saw the building when working as a messenger boy, he peeped through from one of the streets at the rear of the building, and dreamt of living there.

Martine, if you google Chris Stamp, it was Stamp and Lambert they were to do with all the films etc. He died in 2012 he was 70. At the bottom it tells you apart from Terence Stamp there were 2 other brothers and a sister I called Lynn, it says her name was Lynette. To be honest Lynn looked after his 2 daughter Amie and Rosie as he was abroad most of the time. I can tell you more if I see you but not on here.

Sad news.  If I hear Terence Stamp’s name, I always think of him as Sergeant Troy in Far From the Madding Crowd with Julie Christie. I did see him once in town.  He got on the 14 bus at South Kensington, much to my surprise.

There were other brothers and a sister Lynn. The girls Amie and Rosie used to play with my son as they were the same age. They would climb over the fence and watch TV and play. They had a dog smudge. Amie's husband Ed Stoppard is an Actor, obviously the son of Tom Stoppard. They now have beautiful daughters.

Another very sad loss. Must admit, I hadn't realised he was Chris Stamps brother.
