Mr Ainsworth'Casualties in the Gaza Strip area from January 1st 2008 until 6th October 2023'Meaningless factoid.What was occurring in the area at the time ?Was Israel trying to seize Gaza or defending itself from attack by the Palestinians living there ?You would think that looking how badly off the Palestinians came out of this conflict, they would have realised some sort of negotiated peace settlement would be preferable.But then of course Hamas never give them the right to choose.
