I have often wondered how Diane Abbott managed to get herself into the position to become an MP because in practical terms, she clearly isn't very intelligent.  No doubt someone will jump on me to point out that she studied History at Cambridge and achieved a lower second-class degree (2:2).  My response to that (and levelled at many other graduates who study similar soft subjects at uni as opposed to the infinitely much more challenging STEM subjects), is that it doesn't require a great deal of intellect to read and remember facts from books written by someone else ...A critical thinker Abbott ain't!  Abbott's remarks about racism are not only stupid but are in fact racist.  She is basically saying that only black people suffer from true/real racism because they are immediately identifiable by the colour of their skin.  Well so are brown people but they don't seem to count for anything in her way of thinking because she has created an hierarchy of racism and put black people at the top, or bottom, depending on how you want to interpret it.  I challenge her comments and say that a Jewish man out and about wearing a kippah is instantly recognisable, as is a Muslim woman wearing the hijab but I'm sure this would be instantly dismissed by her just because they are not black!  For her to make racist comparisons about  people with ginger hair is beyond ridiculous and she needs use her time in suspension contemplating the stupidity of her comments.  Oh, and filing down that massive chip on her shoulder!
