Incident at Putney Station?

Not sure what's going on there, but there are two fire engines, a police car and an ambulance, at least. May be best to avoid the area for a bit...

It might have been Charlewood Rd, Quill Bridge we used to call it.

A week or so ago the police talked down a man who was going to jump off the railway bridge in the area between URR and Chelverton Road.  They talked him down and I think he went in an ambulance.  Sadly I fear it may have been the same chap trying a slightly different location.

How awful. I saw the fire engines, police cars, TfL response unit, a railway response unit - looked pretty serious for such a big turnout of emergency vehicles.

Sadly, it seems to have been someone hit by a train at Putney.  Trains from Richmond to Putney running nearly to timetable now.

I wondered what was going on when a red air ambulance helicopter flew over earlier this afternoon.

Looking at the National Rail website the trains from Clapham Junction to Twickenham,  Windsor and Eton, etc delayed by a serious incident. Doesn't say exactly where ... obviously near Putney!
