I do not have much skin in this game so to speak, but I was beginning to wonder if I'm in a minority and perhaps the later populations are hairer than previous generations?That said prices do seem quite high despite the extension competition.

Yes, I'm sure it will be on the News again Gerry, didn't mean every barbers. Bit early in the morning when I put it on the Forum, just happened to be on the News at the time.  But had already heard a few days ago about a town with 6 hairdressers opened. Also a few years ago it was about nail bars, women used as slaves not treated properly.

The documentary I watched made clear that it was about some barbershops and corner shops acting as covers for criminal activity: Money-laundering, storing illegal goods etc. Just clarifying that it is not ALL barbers and corner shops…..I’m not saying that Barbara was suggesting otherwise, just underlining the point.It was gobsmacking to hear that some barbers were claiming their business made £150k a week!!! I think I got that right! At an average of £20 a pop, that is a stadium full of heads.
