Lockdown Bakehouse (East Putney)

Is Lockdown Bakehouse still set to open at the former Yum Sa site opposite East Putney tube? Things have gone pretty quiet lately.Also, what’s with all the political commentary? This is supposed to be a community forum, not the Daily Mail.

Barbara  We are free to go out to eat in other places including Putney if we want to.  It depends where we all decide to meet.  Although it is usually at friends' homes we do sometimes go to restaurants and pubs. We had a good Thai meal at the restaurant overlooking the river not that long ago.

It does seem to have gone a bit quiet. It's a family run business so perhaps if you are in one of the other local branches they might be able to give you and update.

I don't think the Daily Mail would give such diverse views on the world politics which affect and endanger and touch all of our lives - including what we can find to eat on the dhelves of our shops and. In the local restaurants.
