I wasn't at the Library meeting as I had a prior engagement. However, I was told that at one time it was stated about solar panels:"If broken or no longer working the panels
can't be sent to landfill or chucked away because of the toxic chemicals they contain. So they're stored like nuclear waste and that's a big problem too. Something like 250 000 metric tonnes of solar panel waste, expected to multiply by 312 by 2050."And it was also noted that the presentation had been checked by "experts".Apparently, experts who have never heard of recycling!https://www.greenmatch.co.uk/blog/2017/10/the-opportunities-of-solar-panel-recyclingUnfortunately, such a glaring item of misinformation would make ine question the veracity of the presentation? But as I say, i wasn't there amnd there seems little feedback.
