Indeed, no one would disagree with the points in Jo' s list in principle because they are so blandly - and disingenously - set out in the original post. But it's one thing to describe the principles, but how they are being implemented by Trump's team is very different. To take one example, "Finding and reducing wasteful spending of taxpayers money." It's obviously sensible to cut out waste on specific areas, but it's important to do so by examining what these areas do and the consequences of cutting them, and that's not what is happening. Wholesale chopping of USAid regardless, and refusing to support research projects that simply contain mention of climate change are mindless actions, not serious examinations of policy.
