Pussy Cats

On the News this morning a young lady saying cats shouldn't be kept as pets. Scotland doesn't agree with it, I think it's stupid. I used to talk to mine, I used to tell it little stories and she would look at me the whole time. A lot of people love their cats. What a stupid idea.

There can be conditions put on building planning applications because of the likelihood of cats or more cats being introduced to areas where there are few or none.  You could have to pay towards an area free from them.  Sounds far-fetched but it is true.

I love both. Cats have very sensitive hearing. Putting a bell on a cat makes it feel like it has tinnitus. Before I was aware of that, I put a bell on both cats. One chomped down on the bell to stop the noise. The other came home on 3 legs, with one claw trapped in the bell, having tried to remove it I assume.

Cats are wonderful pets and of course, once you own one, you probably love it. But love it with a collar & bell, because many of us love wild birds too.

An American woman was aware that her cat was eating another cat's food. She knew 6 of her near neighbours had cats. So she sent notes to each neighbour in the hope of discovering which had seen her cat eating the other cat's food. She got 6 positive replies.
