I wonder how much this has cost? Presumably all vehicles will be re branded as well as stationary, street signs etc. Or is it just on the web site?

The council don't own Battersea Power Station, it belongs to a consortium of Malaysian companies. I can see that the logo might be seen as unproblematical under Tory administrations given that Battersea wards tended not to vote for them but under Labour there is the issue of potential geographical bias.

Seems a shame to drop the outline of the Battersea Power Station, probably Wandsworth's most iconic building. Maybe they plan to sell it to Lambeth.

Signs may be even cheaper if they dropped the 'B' and may actually reflect the state of the pavements which are covered in...

It speaks volumes about this council that time, effort, focus and money is being spent on a new logo. Really? Is that so essential in their opinion? As for a massive purple ‘W’ ! 🤣🤣 I suppose someone has a sense of humour at least.

Bloody awful!

Neither like or dislike just wondering about the cost and the optics when money is short for essential services.

I like the new logo. I think it will be less costly to reproduce than the old full-colour one. Also more flexible in how it can be adapted for different media. Nick

An FOI was lodged on the same day I posted on here.
I've seen it on a street sign in the borough. I don't know how much it will cost but if it is being rolled out when things are being replaced rather than proactively, it may not be material. There are possibly offsetting savings from the simpler design in terms of graphics costs.A Freedom of Information request is likely to give a full answer to your question.
