One party was in power for 14 years, until 6 months ago. For some reason, Musk never bothered to get himself shocked by the lack of action until, you say, the new Labour government picked a fight with him, and then suddenly Musk just had to set his X-dogs on Starmer and Co. And somehow that justifies calling a Labour minister a "rape genocide apologist". And suddenly Badenoch breaks her long silence.

Took months to respond to a letter from a local authority, which I believe Phillips has apologised for.They are moving a lot quicker now!"There have been several Inquiries and Reports"Oddly none naming who was responsible for the not to prosecute policy.Those in authority who are probably white and middle class have escaped justice and in many cases fallen upwards.

Yes, but you can't implement plans without having worked on them first.I watched PMQs yesterday and I completely agree with Kier Starmer that this was jumping on the immigration bandwagon by certain members on the right of the Tory party.There have been several Inquiries and Reports and the big one that took years and cost millions by Professor Jay needs to be urgently actioned now.

If an inquiry is justified, it would be remiss of Kemi  Badenoch not to press for one, regardless of what the previous government did or did not do. If the call for an inquiry is such a bad idea, how come Keir Starmer, Angela Rayner, Rachel Reeves, David Lammy and Wes Streeting all abstained on the vote? And how come Jess Phillips has now  indicated that she will reconsider the position of the government’s if victim groups want an inquiry?It seems to me that Labour supporters on this Forum, after months of watching the government make one mistake after another - giving inflationary pay awards to public sector workers, withdrawing winter fuel allowance, disrupting the education of children in private schools, destroying family farms, abandoning the  WASPI women and now crashing the economy through a foolish budget - are happy to divert the discussion to Kemi Badenoch’s supposed hypocrisy.

In the UK we have paid Government & paid opposition ministers.Did the Labour opposition raise these issues?Seem that both parties were at fault.On Radio 4 in the morning (mon or tue) the author of the report grudgingly admitted that Musk intervention had meant the recommendation were being implemented sooner than if he hadn't intervened.

Sue. I've read some good, almost plausible articles about multiverses recently. Which universe was your PMQs in?Yes, Sir Kier was annoyed: about the lies and vile language used against him and some of his ministers by Musk and reenforced by Badenock et al. Perhaps there could be a case for another inquiry but:The priority is to implement the Jay report recommendations, I think all but one was ignored by the last incomplete Conservative goverment:To retain credibility Badenock et al must distance themselves from Musk's foul smears against labour otherwise they're tarnished with them.I think that's all fairly factual - apart from multiverses theory which still has to be proved - but extensive work being done on that, I saw a great lecture at the BAA by Catherine Heymans, Astronomer Royal for Scotland a couple of years ago. Made more sense than Badenock, Farage, etc ...

No Ivonne it wasn't political point scoring, it was a legitimate challenge which is what the Opposition can do every Wednesday.
