Consultation on Sewage Bill

The Government has launched a public consultation on their landmark new sewage bill that could put polluting sewage bosses behind bars and finally stop their companies spewing sewage into our rivers and seas. But they have timed the consultation over Christmas and the closing date is 16 January, and they could close it even sooner. It may have closed early, as 38 Degrees warned it might. I only had the link via 38 Degrees I’m afraid, but I think it was the official consultation. This link might be useful https://www.parliament.uk/business/news/2024/december/water-special-measures-bill-call-for-evidence/ but the Committee was due to meet today, so perhaps that’s why the link 38 Degrees gave no longer works.
