Green Man passengers decanted at Lytton Grove

I know everyone must have thought of this, but why can't the 14 and 37 take passengers on to The Green Man, let them off (and on) safely at the 85 bus stop, and turn in at the second entrance/exit to the turning circle, and later turn out at the first entrance/exit? Just reverse the flow.? Seems to me so simple. There MUST be a reason why they don't do that - but what is it?

Didn't know Tibbets Corner was closed.  Lyton Grove wasn't when I came to Kent for Christmas (till tomorrow) - it's my stop. The issue with LG was passengers being pitched off 14 and 37 there and having to walk to Green Man while buses continued empty.

I agree, Judy, it is as incomprehensible as exasperating!I am copy-pasting the paragraphs on this in the article on PutneySW15:"....A key focus of the meeting was ending early terminations at Lytton Grove and Tibbett's Corner and restoring the alighting points at the Putney Heath bus stand. Following pressure from Ms Anderson and the Council, TfL has agreed to urgently review this decision, aiming to have established a safe way to reopen the stops by January 2025....."Reopening the stops on Lytton Grove and Tibbett's Corner...  Did not know these were "closed" in the first place!What a mindless decision!!!
