Manor Lane Richmond

As we were coming home from Sainsbury's this afternoon, going towards the Upper Rich Rd. A young lady riding her bike on the pavement with the child carriage behind her pulling it. Well we laughed but wasn't really funny. Good job she was on the pavement, because the lady kept riding and the carriage became loose and the chilling were left behind, she got all down the road till she noticed, she had left her children behind. It was a good job she wasn't cycling in the road.  So there not that safe.

You seriously have a problem Philippa, you change every subject to your way of thinking, this has nothing to do with David Cameron.  It has nothing to do with snow or cold, as a lovely day. It has nothing to do with getting in doors in the warm, we can't afford. Nothing to do with taking their children to school or nursery.  It was a Saturday, riding on the pavement with a small carrier for children, she was pulling behind her bike. It was not attached properly to her bike, so by by children, no tea tonight.

David Cameron is famous for going home and leaving his  young daughter at a pub.There are more and more families using cargo bikes for children for school and nursery taking there and picking up - many take routes through parks when they can.  In some countries where it is more prevalent they are pictured pedalling through snow to get there and back.  Now that's when you really appreciate getting back into the warmth indoors!

Ed, the young lady was riding towards the Upper R Rd, on the left hand side pavement. I was looking out the passenger side window, looking at the little mites. Wonder how long before they started screaming we lost our mum.

Still at least she realized before she got home :)Let's hope she doesn't go caravanning.It's probably why the ones with cargo in the front are more popular nowadays. Never had one of those but had a seat over the rear wheel. Had to be careful with their hands dangling near the wheel.There is a cycle lane along the pavement but it's not very wide and you have to give way with each side road which is ok heading North but South the cars will be behind you so your always looking back.I wonder which way she was going
