Yes, Andy, it would also be poor policy to withdraw pensioner' subsidies for transport when use of public transport should be encouraged. The most sensible move would be to tax aviation fuel; that's one real Brexit benefit every one has missed. The UK is no longer constrained by EU rule exempting aviation fuel from tax. I'm sure Mr O'Leary will squeal but who cares, he's happy to rip off his own passengers and it looks like if you don't own a mobile phone you won't be able to check in for flights if he removes check-in desks - or is he just testing public reaction?
