Fulham FC opens riverside path.

Good news for Putney. Fulham FC have opened access along the riverside stadium. It was part of the planning permission application I believe a cafe will be opened in 3 weeks.Well down Fulham FC and Fulham council for doing something positive.

It plugs the gaping the footpath between Fulham Park, then onwards to Hammersmith Bridge. Previously to walk from Putney Bridge to Hammersmith Bridge one had to make a detour back to a road to get past the Fulham ground.

I’m sorry if this is a stupid question but does the footpath end at Fulham Football Club or does it continue along the Thames?

I must admit I don't follow football these days and I'm not a Fulham fan. However, the new Fulham football club Thames Path looks good. Still some final work in progress. I have little interest in football but really pleased that the path by the river is now open as I often walk there.

I am really pleased for Fulham FC and their supporters about this.  I’ve never walked by the ground, so I might do so now. By the way, it’s B’ham v Fulham tonight.  We will be watching at home.  May the best team win, I suspect it won’t be B’ham.

Excellent news.I do not think I have heard the crowd from across the river since the new stadium has been in use. Perhaps just me.
