Putney Forum

Have just contacted the Neighbour Net, The Courtyard, 4 Evelyn Road, Chiswick, W4 5JL.  0208 994 7888. I've asked if Philippa Bond can be banned from our Putney Forum as she is on every other forum as well. As Putney members I don't think it's necessary to have to continually  listen to her.  As the Head Office is based in Chiswick, was wondering if Philippa is something to do with their Headquarters as they manage all the other Forum sites.  Just wondered if anybody else is in agreement, I've left them a message on their phone.

Michael, they may not contravene any of the Forum rules.  But I've looked on Ealing Forum that you see on our front page of forum and it appears she is also getting load of stick from other Ealing members on their forum, even about the winter fuel allowance, their having ago at her. So not just me she annoys.

When you join the list of countries that lock up and torture journalists for telling the truth  - it unfortunately elevates all sorts of opinion.The UK has funded and probably still does - groups far worse than what we are seeing on the UK streets.

The information is being spread on social media. I guess the police have the same access to 'X', Instagram, etc as potential rioters do find out the proposed protest locations. I suspect the organisers are using closed groups on WhatsApp, Telegram or signal to keep initial thoughts private but if they don't go public on 'X' or Instagram not many people will turn up.

I don't think Phillipa's posts contravene any of the Forum's rules. Some of her posts are informative, others are, as someone said, instructions for grannies to such eggs, but if posters irritate me I just ignore them.

Yes Ivonne, all rather strange. Also they have picked all the towns they are meant to be striking tomorrow. Where is all this information coming from. The Police must already know otherwise they wouldn't be ready in each area.

The riots are horrific and inexcuable!!I somehow get this idea that it is all orchestrated from somewhere else.  All the thugs seems to gather in the same place at the same time....  Too coincidental and far too heart breaking.

Ivonne, I will be more positive, I will be more positive. It's nearly working, another 98 and I'll remember my school days. Perhaps all the riots is rather upsetting.

Hello Barbara,I know that she irritates you but having her banned is perhaps a bit too extreme?What about not reading her posts?  It may be awkward at times, but just ignore her?  It can be quite a positive exercise! Just a thought!

Whilst she can be annoying I dont think banning her is the answer.I was banned once and then had to prove I was really me and not a troll. Always like that Chantel Milton women who didnt like people disagreeing with her viewpoint.
