Whens the second ballot? 😁😁

With a share of the vote at about 35% I'm sure the remainers will soon be demanding a second vote 😁😁

I can't understand why Cameron is blamed for the Referendum. Parliament voted in June 2015 by 544 to 53 to hold a Referendum. If Cameron's motive was to silence the Tory right, what was the motive of Labour and the Lib Dems? Only the SNP voted against.

And Farage's first speech states he will campaign for PR. Of course he will. Surely his constituents in Clacton have more pressing needs he should be attending to as their newly elected representative? Oh wait ...

Highly unlikely we would get a chance at rejoining the EU as the terms would not be in our favour but if better trade deals can be negotiated with our nearest neighbours then that can only be a good thing. Never been a fan of PR and still not Reform would have had over 100 seats . Certainly more seats than the lib dems.Too much scope for dirty alliances.Certainly the new govt wont change to PR after this result.

Sadly, you're probably right.  It won't stop people trying though Starmer has already said no to PR despite most of his party and many of his MPs being strongly in favour.

Proportional representation is mentioned after every General Election. Unless the Government comes up with a variation of PR that will keep them in power it won't happen. At least not in our lifetime Jonathan!

Definitely. The 2011 referendum on AV was useless as it is one of the worst forms of PR.Remember that you can't translate the existing votes into how things would work with PR. A large majority of people would vote very differently under PR.
