The question is what are the other parties going to do to stop Farage?Labelling Brexit and Reform voters as racist doesn't win anyone over.Personally I'm not particularly frilled to have a MP that was also the Chairperson of the Parliamentary all party genocide committee say they couldn't vote because they had a shadow cabinet position and being in a party that continues to support such a regime militarily and politically.There will be some that say you need to support the lesser of two or in this case three parties but thankfully there are other choices, just as well because it is not all together clear which of these three parties posed the biggest risk to the lives of Muslims and other ethic groups around the globe.I think a lot of the smaller parties need to do a lot more work on their policies. Reform for all it's faults managed to pull a reasonable set of policies together. There is no reason why the Green party for example can not look at these and see which ones make sense.

Basically his votes come from disaffected Tories. Now it's up to the Conservative Party to take time out and rebuild itself but that could take many years. Who will be it's next leader I wonder 🤔

It's interesting. I've spoken to some people who wouldn't vote for Starmer (too woke?), wouldn't vote Tory (don't like having an Indian PM …) - are but there's Mr Farage - an unwoke British white male. Draw your own conclusions …

"filled with racists, destroyed by internal disagreements and infighting"I think that statement can be applied to  the main parties over time as well.The problem with the previous response, putting aside the obvious, the number of votes they got it ignores the real danger.Reform fill a void and can only exist and grow as with that void. That void needs to be addressed with real policies that impact people's lives. I'm not sure how a mainly white middle class party is going to do that.The demonisation of asylum seekers started way before Farage and even May but I guess that was new Labour so is not relevant.

It was Farage wot won it — for Labour! 😅Splitting the right-wing vote was a great service to the UK. 
Now Reform can fizzle out as a single issue party, filled with racists, destroyed by internal disagreements and infighting, like all of its hard-right predecessors
