Jonathan, I agree that a handful of dodgy people applied to be candidates which is very unfortunate and to be regretted but they were booted out as soon as Farage was made aware of their comments. Unfortunately, or fortunately whichever way you look at it, the potential candidates had to be recruited extremely quickly and there just wasn't enough time for them to be properly vetted and Farage and Tice have apologised for this.

Julie is absolutely wrong to say that Nigel Farage was the first and only person to warn of mass migration as stated on another thread.  Governments have had years to prepare but unfortunately prefer personal aggrandisement and power to preparation.

Sue, I don’t think many people are buying this smokescreen defence. In fact Ofcom, who received hundreds of complaints about the C4 report, announced yesterday that there was no substance to those complaints and see nothing they need to investigate. As I have said before, Farage and Reform are attracting too many of the wrong sort of people and I am sure this will make many more cautious about associating themselves with him and his party.

It's Covid all over again where the mass majority are lazy and weak and happy to believe the headlines of the bbc and guardian and not actually use their brains or question or research a little - because that takes effort and you may also find information you don't like which can be difficult. And most aren't equipped emotionally or intellectually for that. People find comfort in being part of the larger group think. Herd mentality. Not all have the capacity to stand out and look around themselves for alternatives.

Well thank God that Reform are not in power.Who knows what might happen. They may support governments with military equipment, intelligence & manpower that are accused of genocide and war crimes.They may also start illegal wars, with whole nations reduced to rumble with millions of dead and millions of refugees.They may even support coup's and misinformation resulting in war, famine, hundred of thousands of dead.Thankfully Reform UK are not in power and have never been in power.So how did the above happen?Surely there is no racism in any of the above - is there??

Hi Sue, his speech was amazing.I believe he will become the no2 to Farage and they will win power in 2029, once the public realise that the MSM are corrupt.The MSM are owned by the globalist establishment.Their isn't a cigarette paper between the 2 establishment parties Labour and the Tories.All their policies are decided by the WEF, and the unelected quango elites.The MSM hacks just parrot phrase what they are told to say by their paymasters. People are desperate for something different and 2029 will be the time for that change.The public are slowly waking up to this corruption.

If the complaint is that Reform candidates are being offered inducements to resign and criticise Reform then we should remember Lee Anderthal himself told the world he was offered a guaranteed £80k pa deal to switch from the Tories to Reform. Pot and kettle?

Exactly, Jonathan. The second Reform candidate in as many days to resign in disgust.100 years ago in Germany a certain orator by name of Adolf Hitler also preyed on disgruntled Germans. Look where that led.

A large number of the Reform candidates are "paper candidates" and I guess little is known about their backgrounds other than they're friends (of friends?) of supporters of Mr Farage. I'd not realised that until I was having a drink with some fellow alumni and one admitted he'd been approached by Reform to be such a candidate, although it never happened as he'd been abroad and not had a message returned - poor Reform administration? Will be interesting to see his reaction when he meets some of the Reform candidates. Another one (young, female) has just resigned in disgust. Here’s her quote:“I am in no doubt that the party and its senior leadership are not racist.However, as the vast majority of candidates are indeed racist, misogynistic, and bigoted, I do not wish to be directly associated with people who hold such views that are so vastly opposing to my own and what I stand for.I also have been significantly frustrated and dismayed by the failure of the Reform party’s leadership to tackle this issue in any meaningful way, and their attempts to instead try to brush it under the carpet or cry foul play.”

Interesting speech Sue,If Reform can make such a speech, which was on the whole positively putting forward the argument for low immigration- it shouldn't be outside the capabilities of Labour not to wrongfully target the Bangladeshi community and upset international relations with a country that the UK has a good return policy.Neither however will get my vote :)
