Had one Jay for a few weeks, then 2, This evening we nearly fainted there were six, all together. They must have come to watch the football. Wonderful sight.

Hi Maxine, yes this year seems to be loads of birds, can't believe all these Jays. The Magpies don't stay long, but the Jays think I'm their mum. Other years have had hundreds of sparrows, but not this year.

thug magpies have taken over my garden. even the pigeons won't appear when they are around.

The first jay would sit under the fir tree on a branch and look in at me awaiting food. Also I get the Parakeets and a couple of Magpies. Think the parakeets must be nearby as doesn't take long to fly to the bird stand after me going in the garden.

There are a few jays near me - one was sitting on the window sill knocking on the glass last week. There seems to be quite a few around, not as many as magpies. If you have to have a member of the crow family then jays are probably the best although better from a distance.

You are very lucky Barbara. All I get to see are bloody crows!😟
