Oops. Sure you're not going to be deported, Andy. Actually, I have come across a couple of white people who came from the Caribbean. One worked as a receptionist at a company I worked for in the late 80s, the other was a friend of a colleague I worked with in the 1970s. They both had regional Caribbean accents. The friend of my colleague was really pissed off that most times he phoned up about a flat advertised in the Evening Standard it had always "just been taken" but if a prospective flat mate born in London called a few minutes later it was usually still available - really odd that?
