The problem with using a list of "terrorist attacks" is that they are a subset of attacks on innocent members of the British public, and no surprise that many of these are ascribed to religious groups given that often the basis for the differentiation from a lone individual.For example, the recent sword attack in West London isn't included in that list because it was not considered a terrorist attack, but it was a still an attack on innocent members of the British public.The total number of attacks on innocent members of the British public in the last ~20 years is much greater than the numbers you have listed, it's just a "terrorist attack" is much more likely to make the news and often has much higher numbers of injuries/fatalities per individual event.

Angela Rayner has said previously that she and unfortunately some other politicians on both sides of the house need personal protection as advised by MI5.  This has been going on for years since Jo Cox and David Ames’s murders.

Mr RoseShocking attitudes that even Mr Carter, Ms Bond and Ms Raynor I am sure would renounce.To ask such questions however would probably have been considered racist and Islamophobic (whatever that means).And for Ms Raynor the loss of lots of votes in the next election.Many British Muslims live in their own political bubble, isolated from the views of the majority of non-Muslims.I say majority.But for how long ?!

Mr CarterI am afraid you miss the point.This picture typifies the attitude of Islam towards women.They do not play a public role in major decisions particularly political with only men deemed capable of handling them.Strange company for the Shadow Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities to mix with.Still at least she seems to have dressed demurely so as not to do any 'leg flashing' as it was rumoured to have been the case in the HoC in front of Johnson.Re her housing arrangements, it does look as if she has broken no law.

None of whom (other than the present incumbent) have a hope in hell of becoming Putney's MP. It all comes down to whether one votes for a party (possibly with a peg on one's nose) or whether to vote for the candidate who is the best advocate for the constituency.

Obviously Labiur like every other party has the right to canvass support from all communities. But I am a little surprised that Angela Rayner was happy to speak to wh seems to have been a segregated audience. And I wonder whether she made it clear that her party supports the right of Israel to exist, the primacy of British law and the civil rights of gay people.

They are just playing good cop bad cop. Another news item today with regard to Diane Abbott.The real story here is after backing atrocities among other things, they fear that some of they may have lost some sections of the public that would have voted for them.They still have the same foreign policy, they still would do exactly the same if circumstances arose again.Those representing minorities are getting expelled or have been removed from short lists.The Labour Files were truly shocking.If you want our government to stop supporting atrocities then do not vote uni-party!There is no point voting for them then being shocked by what happens.https://www.ajiunit.com/investigation/the-labour-files/https://www.labourmuslims.org/islamophobia

The point is that Angela Rayner was canvassing the support of a community, a large proportion of whom do not share traditional British  values. Recent polling shows that of British Muslims1) 49% believe that Israel has no right to exist2) 32% would like to see the introduction of sharia law3) 27% would like to outlaw homosexuality.While she was canvassing support, she might also  like to have asked how many of those present believe that Hamas committed rape and murder on October 7. If the poll is to be believed, 39% would have denied that the atrocity took place.

What a load of ignorant and utter rubbish about Muslim women!  Have you been living under a stone?An exception would be Afghanistan right now.  Although the women got the vote there in 1919 on independence it was probably a more comprehensive vote than the womens' vote here in the UK.  It has also gone backwards in Iran.

@RobertThey were segregated and not allowed in the room. We know in that particular culture that most women are subjugated by their husbands and have little worth in their insular society. Rayner is considered to be a strong independent woman so this treatment of Muslim women would surely be anathema to her, so why did she appear to condone it? Damage limitation after Starmer angered Muslims over his stance on Gaza? Highly likely. What concerns me greatly is that she is attending clearly a meeting where not one woman is present.  Do the females of this community not have a vote or worthy to be in attendance.  Surely as a working class woman why the hell isn’t she making sure 50% of our population has a free vote.
