Churchill may have been flawed, made mistakes,  and - like many of his generation - was probably a white supremacist, racist, but he led the way to defeat fascism and had a vision of Europe to stop stupid wars based on the old "family" rivalries ... Thank you Michael for the link and I agree, 1000%! A toast to Europe Day.I admire Churchill who, in very difficult times, was an incredible leader with true vision and tenacity.Of course he had his virtues and flaws, all of us do. His are better documented though.He was part of a generation with incredible backbone.
